SkyKelpie Scholarship Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility Criteria
1.1. Applicants must be residents of Australia and over the age of 16 at the time of application.
1.2. SkyKelpie reserves the right to verify the information provided in the application process. Incomplete or false information may lead to disqualification.

2. Scholarship Inclusions
2.1. Scholarship recipients may choose one of the following options:

  • One drone selected by SkyKelpie, valued at up to $3,000.

  • A credit of up to $3,000 towards equipment or services.

  • CASA-accredited license training (RePL) as arranged by SkyKelpie.

2.2. The scholarship also includes:

  • Access to the SkyKelpie Aerial Stockmanship Course.

  • Access to the SkyKelpie Simulator.

  • A ticket to EvokeAg 2025.

  • 12 months of mentorship by the SkyKelpie team.

3. Scholarship Limitations
3.1. The scholarship is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
3.2. If the scholarship recipient fails to meet participation requirements or breaches these terms, SkyKelpie reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship.
3.3. Any additional costs (e.g., travel, accommodation, or personal expenses) incurred in utilising the scholarship are the responsibility of the recipient, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Liability and Indemnity
4.1. SkyKelpie is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of scholarship benefits, including but not limited to the operation of drones or participation in training courses.
4.2. Scholarship recipients agree to indemnify SkyKelpie against any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from their misuse of the scholarship benefits.
4.3. Recipients must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including CASA guidelines for drone operation.

5. Intellectual Property
5.1. SkyKelpie retains ownership of all course materials, simulator access, and proprietary tools provided as part of the scholarship.
5.2. Recipients are prohibited from sharing, distributing, or reproducing SkyKelpie materials without prior written consent.

6. Mentorship Program
6.1. The mentorship program will be conducted at the discretion of SkyKelpie, including but not limited to frequency, format, and topics covered.
6.2. SkyKelpie reserves the right to discontinue mentorship if the recipient fails to engage or violates these terms.

7. EvokeAg 2025 Ticket
7.1. SkyKelpie will provide one ticket to EvokeAg 2025, but recipients are responsible for any associated travel and accommodation costs.
7.2. If the recipient is unable to attend the event, the ticket will be forfeited and is not exchangeable for other benefits.

8. Media and Social Media Participation
8.1. Scholarship recipients agree to participate in reasonable media and social media activities when requested by SkyKelpie. These activities may include, but are not limited to, interviews, photo shoots, promotional videos, or social media posts.
8.2. SkyKelpie will respect the recipient’s personal preferences and their decision not to participate in certain media or promotional tasks.
8.3. SkyKelpie will provide reasonable notice and ensure that media requests do not impose undue burden on the recipient.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality
9.1. Scholarship recipients consent to SkyKelpie using their name, image, and testimonials for promotional purposes.
9.2. Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with SkyKelpie’s privacy policy.

10. Termination and Revocation
10.1. SkyKelpie reserves the right to revoke the scholarship if the recipient breaches these terms or engages in conduct that may damage SkyKelpie’s reputation.
10.2. SkyKelpie’s decision on any matter relating to the scholarship, including termination or revocation, is final and binding.

11. General Provisions
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
11.2. SkyKelpie reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with updates communicated to the recipients.
