Installing the DJI Dock 3 is a straightforward process designed to accommodate both stationary and mobile deployments. For fixed installations, select a flat, open area with a stable power supply and reliable internet connectivity. The Dock supports an input voltage of 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with a maximum power consumption of 800 W. For internet access, it can connect via a standard RJ45 Ethernet port or through an optional DJI Cellular Module for 4G network connectivity . Ensure the installation site is free from obstructions to maintain optimal GPS and communication signals.
For mobile operations, the Dock 3 can be securely mounted on a vehicle using the Vehicle-Mounted Gimbal Mount. During operation, the vehicle must remain stationary on a flat surface with a slope less than 3°. The Dock should be fixed firmly to the vehicle's mounting bracket, and safety measures, such as installing lock nuts and a safety rope, must be observed to prevent movement during drone operations . This mobility allows for rapid deployment across various locations, making it ideal for various tasks.
