At the heart of the system, the Zenmuse H30T sensor suite integrates a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 40MP zoom camera with up to 400× magnification (34× optical), and a high-resolution 1280×1023 thermal infrared camera with 32× maximum zoom. The thermal sensor delivers four times the pixels of its predecessor and offers 10 configurable colour palettes, ensuring clear, adaptable imagery in any environment. Combined with a 3,000 m laser range finder and NIR auxiliary light, the H30T excels in detecting livestock across timber, dense cover or in complete darkness.

The Matrice 400 extends these capabilities with up to 59 minutes of endurance (realistically 50 minutes in field conditions), IP55 weather resistance and robust obstacle avoidance powered by omnidirectional vision, rotating LiDAR and mmWave radar. With a payload capacity of 6 kg and flexible gimbal configurations, it supports multi-sensor setups and accessories such as loudspeakers for practical mustering support.

Transmission is powered by DJI’s O4 Enterprise system, delivering stable, high-definition feeds over distances up to 40 km. The RC Plus 2 enterprise controller offers an ultra-bright 7-inch display and extended battery life, while DJI Pilot 2, FlightHub 2 and DJI Terra provide integrated mission planning, fleet management and mapping.
